Logbook Servicing
Did you know you don’t need to return to the dealership for logbook servicing to maintain your warranty? Our services are performed by our qualified mechanics who follow the exact specifications outlined by your car, 4WD or light vehicle’s manufacturer.
How often should you have your car serviced?
The exact details for your vehicle should be in your owner manual, however the general rule is every 6 months or 10,000km.
Engine Tune-Ups
Engines in older cars were unfortunately not made to last the lifetime of the vehicle without a bit of work. A tune-up is a way to extend the engine’s life by replacing spark plugs, cables and the distributor cap and rotor, as well as cleaning and tweaking the carburettor.
In newer cars, the engine is built to last essentially the expected lifetime of the car. While tune-ups can still be performed if something isn’t operating as it should be, scheduled maintenance is normally the go-to service. The frequency of engine maintenance should be detailed in your owner manual, or our mechanics can advise you upon inspection of the vehicle.
e-Safety Checks
Before renewing your car or light vehicle in New South Wales, your vehicle will need to pass an e-Safety inspection, also known as a pink slip. As an authorised inspection station, we can perform e-Safety inspections, advising the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) if your car is compliant and safe for the streets.
During an inspection, we check your vehicle’s tyre quality and tread, the electrics, seatbelt condition, brake efficiency, the engine and much more. If your car does not pass the test, we’ll provide you with a white slip failure notice, which advises you of the repairs required to meet compliancy. You’ll have 14 days to complete the repairs and have your vehicle re-inspected. Returning to us within the 14-day period incurs no extra cost for re-inspection.
Diagnostics
Diagnostic equipment and tools are a way for our mechanics to easily identify problems in your engine. Once we’ve detected the issue and have discussed our recommended services with you, we’ll be able to make any repairs, part replacements or adjustments to maximise your engine’s performance.

Batteries
Nothing makes the heart sink quite like turning your car on and hearing the defeated sound of a flat battery. If you think your battery may be on its last legs, come in for a battery test. We can replace car batteries in any make or model, using reputable brand Century Batteries, to ensure long-lasting results.
Not sure how to tell if your car’s power source is about to go flat? Check out FAQ page for some signs of a dying battery.
Tyres
Bald tyres increase your stopping time, chances of punctures and blowouts, and can make controlling your vehicle less reliable. Don’t risk it—book in for a tyre replacement and rebalancing at our Russell Vale mechanical workshop today.
